maria Maria DeVincenzo, our Certification Operations Manager, comes to Christie Organic Consultants with a wealth of valuable experience after having worked the last 14 years for a major organic certification company where she personally managed over 70 inspectors, overseeing in excess of 1500 inspections of organic operations annually.  Her duties included hiring inspectors and reviewing processing and grower client’s organic system plans to verify compliance to the National Organic Program and International Standards. Maria was also the main point-of-contact for the USDA/National Organic Program (NOP), International Organic Accreditation Service (IOAS), and Committee on Accreditation for Evaluation Quality (CAEQ), working directly with their auditors and providing required information.  Her expertise includes improving and maintaining Quality Systems to comply with regulatory requirements for ISO Guide 65 and ISO14001, and she has participated in Organic Farm and Processing training with the International Organic Inspector Association, the National Organic Program Certifier Training, and the Professional Development Training for Accredited Certifiers and State Organic Programs.

steve christieSteve Christie, Lois’ husband, graduated in 2001 from Coleman University (summa cum laude), with a degree in Applications and Networks.  Steve is our CFO, runs our IT Dept., and still finds time to handle various administrative tasks for Christie Organic Consultants.
